How does a crypto project get listed?
For a centralized exchange, start with the venue’s official application process and prepare project, token and technical information for its review. For a decentralized exchange, assess the protocol and pool requirements. AMM helps coordinate preparation and liquidity planning; the exchange or protocol determines what is available and what can proceed.
1. Define the market you want to serve
Choose a venue based on the intended users, supported network, trading pairs and operational requirements. A familiar exchange name alone is not a listing strategy. Record why each candidate fits and what still needs confirmation.
- Target audience and venue access
- Token network and exact contract address
- Proposed quote asset and trading pair
- Custody, deposit and withdrawal requirements
- Team capacity for ongoing technical and market support
2. Build a consistent evidence pack
Use one version-controlled project brief so an application, website and technical documentation describe the same token. Mark unresolved items explicitly. A preparation checklist is not a universal exchange requirement: obtain the current checklist directly from each venue.
- Project purpose, product status and public documentation
- Team and entity information supplied through the venue’s secure process
- Token supply, allocation, vesting and unlock schedule
- Contract source, administrator permissions and security review materials
- Network dependencies, wallet support and incident contacts
- Proposed launch sequence and liquidity responsibilities
3. Apply through official channels
Confirm the application destination from the exchange’s own website. As an example, Coinbase describes application, initial review, due diligence and a decision before launch steps. This is a venue-specific process, not an AMM partnership or a template binding every exchange. An intermediary cannot replace the venue’s review or promise its outcome.
4. Separate acceptance from trading readiness
A positive review does not mean a market is already live. Maintain a checklist for deposits, withdrawals, pair configuration, connectivity, funded accounts or pools, monitoring and communications. Get written confirmation of dependencies before making a public timing commitment. Assign one owner and a fallback action for each launch dependency.
5. Plan costs and timing without false certainty
Request the venue’s actual terms and a separate scope from service providers. Distinguish any venue charges from liquidity inventory, trading fees, technical work and ongoing support. There is no universal price or guaranteed listing deadline. Funding a trading account is capital exposed to market risk, not simply a service fee.
How AMM can help
Bring AMM your project brief, target venues and current application stage. The team can discuss documentation readiness, exchange coordination, connectivity and pre- and post-listing liquidity support. Listing approval, token performance and trading volume are not guaranteed.
